![]() ![]() I'm wondering if you have experience with this kind of claim. It sounds to me like this guy simply didn't like me but had nothing wrong to say about my skills and simply came up with the first excuse that he found to hire someone else. I would rather be told I'm not fit for the company's interests than be told I cheated, so I can't help being mad at this. To claim that I cheated is ridiculous, first of all because it would have caused a significant delay in my responses which would have been obvious, secondly because I didn't even have a secondary monitor, I was sitting on a table with a MBP.īut most importantly because I didn't NEED to cheat, I knew most of the answers, and whenever I didn't know something I simply told the interviewer I wasn't familiar with the concept but if he wanted to share it with me we could discuss it and I'm willing to learn about it, etc. ![]() I was also careful NOT to alt-tab when I was being asked something. I did alt-tab on occasion, for instance when the interviewer mentioned names of clients or projects, to see what he was talking about, but I did not look up any answer. And she wanted to know if this was true and what happened. ![]() Two days go by and I hear back from the HR person, she got feedback from the technical interview saying "the candidate used secondary monitors to look up answers". Had a few general questions about programming and then some small tasks to solve in a codeshare snippet. I interviewed for a company in another city and due to scheduling issues I had to do it over Skype.įirst I spoke to the HR manager and she set me up for a second call with a technical person. ![]()
